Cat Sidhe Tea Towel

$38.00

Based on the Scottish myth, the Cat Sidhe (or Cat Sìth) is a fairy creature, possessing supernatural powers and a mystical aura. During Halloween, or Samhain as it was originally known as in Gaelic, the veil between the living and the dead was thinnest, allowing the Cat Sidhe to cross over and roam the earth. People would leave out saucers of milk to appease the Cat Sidhe, hoping to receive its blessing. Those who did not offer milk risked being cursed.

  • Printed on ACO certified organic cotton with organic water-based inks

  • 50cm x 65cm, portrait

  • Machine washable

  • Each tea towel has a fabric ribbon on the back for ease of hanging
