My name is Lauren and I am an illustrator, graphic designer, artist and educator.
Specialising in illustrations for children’s books and graphic design for print and publication projects, I have been working in creative industries for over 15 years. I hold a Bachelor of Design & Visual Communication from the University of South Australia and have worked with many different local and interstate advertising and marketing agencies on educational and commercial projects.
I love running art and ilustration workshops for children and adults and work with councils, libraries, schools and independent organisations to facilitate learning opportunities and professional development sessions, both in-person and online.
I have a passion for the outdoors and when I am not working in my home-based studio in Adelaide, you will find me out in nature working with education groups, scuba diving off the coast or hiking up trails with my dog Charlie.

Known as Nuytsia floribunda, or locally as moodjar, the Christmas tree is found in the southern parts of Western Australia. Featuring a charcoal trunk and dusty green leaves, these trees are set ablaze during the peak of summer with an array of colourful orange blooms. These flowers attract the brightly coloured jewel beetles, native Australian insects that are known for their vibrant colours and patterns.
