Salvia’s are one of my favourite flowers in the garden. Long stalks with brightly coloured purple flowers waving in the breeze. I remember the day I first saw a Blue Banded Bee hovering around it. A native Australian bee the flies in a helicopter grid-like pattern, it was such a delight to see these pollinators coming back time and again.
