Welcome to the Curious Creatures Drawing Workshop!

Every week we will share a new drawing workshop with you to create and design Curious Creatures based on your submitted prompts! Everyone can join in, there's no age limit or requirements.
All you need is a pencil and some paper! For those who want to draw digitally, we recommend a wacom or a tablet with pen. Lets get drawing! We are a validated Learning Destination for Australasia Children's University. Watch a video, create your illustration and receive a 1hr stamp.

School Workshops and Book Week!
Workshops and school sessions are available for Junior Primary to Secondary students. Fun, educational and interactive, sessions involve discussing the process of illustrating a book and hands on drawing workshops, focusing on creating engaging characters from the imagination.
Workshops and sessions can be tailored for Kindy/Reception and above.
Sessions can be themed on request to fit with school event/project/curriculum.

Lauren's Illustrator in Residence program includes custom workshops designed in partnership with schools.
Sessions focus on learning the fundamentals of shape language, layout and design, to create engaging characters, creatures and landscapes from the imagination and real life. The importance of narrative storytelling in illustration is discussed and potential careers within the arts and creative industry are explored.
Programs can run from a single day workshop to term length programs.
Recommended ages for these workshops are years 3/4 and above.
